It’s not just a common plan, but a
almost-do-plan….hehehe….Hopefully, it’ll be done someday..
I have planned this when I was stressed by studying doctor
exit exam…it was really stressful.
Oke…let’s begin…Everything begins from what vehicle you must
ride…And the one of that vehicle is a plane…I choose Airasia…Though I was the
cheapest and the earliest plane but now because of that accident [Airasia’s
crashed in early 2015], the rate is going up….
First day…
We’ll depart from Yogyakarta Adi Sucipto Airport at 06.25
WIB and we’ll arrive there at 8.25 WITA. We rent a motorcycle for a day. We would
contact someone who easy to chat and he was recommended from other blog too…He
is Bli Bayu (087860985449). We’ll have an appointment in Denpasar Airport. So, we don’t need
to go to Kuta by taxi and rent a motorcycle there…It’ll save some money. The
rent rate is Rp 50 k/day excluding fuel.
After we get motorcycle, we’ll go to Kuta. The first place
we should visit is a homestay. We choose Arthawan Hotel, poppies lane 2, because
of its reputation as the cheapest hotel in Kuta. This rate is as cheap as Rp
100 k/room/2 person.
To optimize the time, we’ll be heading to Tanah Lot. Before
that, we want to buy the most delicious milk pie in Bali. It is located in Jalan Nangka Selatan No 163, Denpasar. One
box of milk pies costs Rp 25 k. From Milk pie store, we go to west through
jln Gatot Subroto then jln Raya Canggu. It is about 20 km (+ 1 hour). Don’t forget to use your GPS, it is
very helpful.

Tanah Lot is a Pura surrounded by sea. If we want to get to
Pura, we should pass the sea by walking. We’ll be get wet, but it is worth. In
the inside, we’ll see water springs and snake…I don’t know whether it’s true or
not.

Then, we’ll head to Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), where lies
the giant statue. The entrance fee is Rp 40 k includes watching Bali dance.
We’ll stay there not too long because our main attraction is Sunset Kecak dance
in Uluwatu.

From Tanah Lot to GWK, it takes about 1-1,5 hours and from GWK to
Uluwatu, it takes 1 hour ride. And we must arrive in Uluwatu before sunset to
take picture, Of course. Entrance fee in Uluwatu is Rp 15 k and The Kecak dance
ticket is Rp 100 k. The kecak dance will be started at 6 pm so we have to be
ready in hall before that.
At night, We’ll be back to Hotel and enjoy the night in Kuta
and buy some stuff for traveling to Gili Island like mineral water and Pop
mie..
Second day….
We’ll go to Gili Island by speed boat. We’ll be picked up at
6.00 – 7.00 am. The speedboat or people often called fastboat ticket can be
found in travel agency in Kuta.The price is about Rp 500 – 700 k/return depend
on the fastboat company. This price include pick up service from hotel and some
snacks.
At 11.30 am, we’ll arrive at Gili Trawangan, the biggest
Gili. We’ll be greet by the beautiful beach.

can choose from cheap homestay till luxury hotel there. The recommended

Okay….Now, we’ll go to explore the island. We can rent a
bicycle for Rp 50k/day or just walking. It takes 1-2 hours by bicycle to
explore the island. At the sunset time, we can see the beautiful sunset in
sunset point.
In the night, we’ll enjoy the party island.
Third day…
Our plan is take a 3 Gili
snorkeling tour. It begins at 10 am and be back to harbor at 3 pm. We should
book this tour a day before. This tour price is Rp 120k includes snorkel, life
jacket, and lunch.
We’ll visit diving spot to
see the beautiful coral and the colorful fishes. It’ll be amazing experience.
Enjoying Gili island is not
enough unless you see the coral reef.
Fourth day…
The last morning in Gili
trawangan. Never forget to see the beautiful sun rises from the sea. Our
fastboat will depart at 12 noon. So, we’ll have time to buy some souvenirs.
We’ll arrive at Padang Bay
harbor at 2 pm and continue our journey to Kuta. In kuta we’ll rent a
motorcycle. Our destinations are Kuta beach, Beach walk, Bom Bali monument,
seeing sunset in Seminyak Beach and the last is having dinner in Warung Itali

Seminyak beach is not far from Kuta. It’s about 15 minutes from Kuta beach. Seminyak Beach is the nice place to see sunset.

After the nice dinner,
we’ll head to Airport, our meeting point to give back the motorcycle. This
night we’ll spend in Denpasar Airport. Don’t forget to bring a warm clothes.
Fifth day
Two hour before taking off,
we’ll wake up and prepare our stuffs. Our plane will take off at 5.50 am and
will be landing in Yogyakarta airport at 6.10 am.
